Services - Vintage Place Settings

SHORT-TERM RENTAL

We offer our vintage tableware for all types of dinner parties, tea parties, and receptions. No event is too small. We’d love to help you host even your most intimate gatherings of family or friends. In most cases local rentals are for 1 to 3 days, but longer periods can be arranged. Rentals that are shipped to you are delivered 2 to 3 days before your event, if possible, and must be return shipped to us the first business day after your event.

WASHING & POLISHING

We deliver all rentals clean, polished, and ready to use. After use, we carefully wash our vintage items. Local rentals must be thoroughly rinsed or wiped to remove food. Shipped rentals must be cleaned and dried before repacking and returning to us.

FINDERS SERVICE

If you are looking to supplement your personal collection with a special vintage piece(s), or need help searching for a specific vintage pattern, we would be happy to help you find it. Please contact us for your custom quote.

SET-UP

We can offer suggestions on setting your table(s) at no charge. For local rentals, we can set your table(s) for an additional fee. Please contact us for your custom quote.

STYLE CONSULTATION

We are happy to consult at no charge and collaborate with you on your ideas. We want your event to be very special. We can send you photos, or we can arrange a special showing of possible choices. Our showroom is open by appointment and is located at 2023 W. Carroll Ave. #C211, Chicago, IL 60612.

COORDINATING WITH OTHERS

We are happy to work with your planner, caterer, venue, and other vendors to make your event seamless.

DELIVERY AND PICK-UP

For local rentals you can arrange to pick up from and deliver back to us, or we can handle that for you for an additional fee based on mileage, parking charges, and quantity of items. Delivery is typically the day of your event, but can be earlier by arrangement. Return is the day of your event or the next day.

ECO-FRIENDLY PRACTICES

We are very proud to be eco-friendly at VPS, not only in the repurposing of vintage table settings from their previous owners, but in packing and transport of items as well. Why buy new, when you can rent beautiful table settings whenever you want to host a special event? We even extend the life of damaged items by donating them to artists and art students for new uses.

Prices

We offer per-item pricing and more economical package pricing. Prices start at $1.25 per item. A 50% deposit reserves your special event with us.
